Epiphone’s history and association with the legendary Les Paul dates back to the early 1940′s when Les, working at the Epiphone factory on 14th St. in New York, created the world’s first electric guitar… better known as “The Log”. Over the years, Les continued to work closely with Epiphone by reviewing new product ideas and offering suggestions.
Of course, the Les Paul Signature Model guitar has remained the most sought after guitar in the world over the years and the current Epiphone Les Paul Standard model combines the classic features and tone with legendary Epiphone quality and value.
Some Comments To this Guitar:
- The Epiphone Les Paul Standard is an excellent guitar and good in terms of quality and price. I recommend it
- Brill, it is a fab guitar to buy with its rocky sound to it, its looks, built well and its price is great.
- Great sound good looks and well built.
- Great guitar for the price and I played a Gibson LP studio right before and after this and well the Epi’s better
- Nice guitar, very good sounding pickups and good feeling neck. Would recommend highly to people that want a Les Paul but without the price tag!
- This is as good as the Gibson test will prove that 5 out of ten cannot tell the difference. The best copy without a doubt, i have owned a gibson but sold it.
- Excellent instrument for playing old style rock music. Deep Purple, Zeplin etc even a drop of Wishbone
- Awesome guitar best for guitar solo’s and nice to play. Everyone should have one.
- This is some guitar, that i think most people would love. As i said before it is sexy looking, sounds class and i would say the fact Noel from Oasis plays one says how good it is!
- It’s a must buy guitar. If you like Gibson, try this and compare it with Gibson there is a very little difference in their sound quality. This is a great value for money. You actually get more than you spend. Cheers!
- The Les Paul Standard has quick reaction time and has a very clean tone. I am an owner of a Ephinone Les Paul Standard and it is one of my favorite guitars.
- One of the best guitars around (considering: price tag) you get a good old LP tone and good feel. This the “players guitar”. Not recommended for people who people who buy and not use the guitar for long. Wonderful guitar! You want a great guitar for a dead cheap price, this is it! Only bad point is the tuners, change them and you’ll be good
- I got the Epiphone Les Paul Standard for christmas and love it. It is like a gibson but so much more inexpensive not cheap at all tatally worth the money still kinda expensive but im 13 so what do i know but yea its a great guitar.
